What is TEDxSurat Summit 2025?
TEDxSurat Summit is a first-of-its-kind two-day experience in India — blending powerful talks with deeper, personal interactions. Unlike a traditional TEDx event, this summit features Idea Day for mainstage talks and Impact Day for expert-led sessions, real conversations, and immersive learning.
Why a Summit? How is it different from a regular TEDx event?
A Summit format allows us to go beyond the stage. Instead of just listening, you get to engage, explore, and reflect. It’s designed to create a more immersive, community-driven experience, making ideas more actionable and meaningful.
Is TEDxSurat Summit the first in India?
Yes. TEDxSurat Summit 2025 marks the first TEDx event in India to introduce this full-scale Summit experience with a dual-day format inspired by global TEDx Summits.
What is TEDxSurat and what’s its legacy?
TEDxSurat is an independently organized TEDx event that has been shaping the minds and community of Surat since 2017. What began as TEDxDumas has evolved into one of India’s most respected platforms for sharing bold, breakthrough ideas.
What is Idea Day?
Held on 20th September, Idea Day is the main TEDx-style experience. Expect around 10 inspiring speakers, a powerful stage, immersive design, and a community charged with curiosity — all hosted at Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium, Adajan.
What is Impact Day?
On 21st September, Impact Day invites you into candid, expert-led sessions with the speakers. Dive deeper into their ideas, attend breakout workshops, and connect in small, focused conversations. It’s where listening turns into doing.
Can I attend just one day or both?
Yes! You can choose a single-day pass (Idea Day) or go all in with a two-day pass for the complete TEDxSurat Summit experience.

Around 10 dynamic individuals from diverse fields — including innovation, design, science, and social impact — will take the stage. Each brings a story that makes you think differently.
